Leadership style is the consistent pattern of behavior a person exhibits in attempting to influence the activities of others in achieving organizational goals. It is developed over time and is what others have come to recognize as personal style.

A good leadership style in one environment may be a dismal failure in another because there is no such thing as a "best" all-purpose leadership style. This workshop examines leadership from a situational point of view making it a much more fluid concept than has been the traditional practice. Participants will learn how to assess the leadership needs of any situation so that they can alter their style accordingly.

The Effective use of power is a critical skill for those in whom the organization has entrusted its authority. The true sign of power is accomplishment, not fear and domination. By exploring the nature of power, participants will learn how to use this resource well.
